Silas Adams
Silas is a 7th generation Atlantan and a 2nd generation member of Adams Realtors. As a youngster, he lived in an 1880s house in Atlanta’s Grant Park neighborhood. He grew up in Grant Park and in the City of Decatur. Silas attended Eckerd College and Georgia State University studying Economics.
Prior to joining the family business, he worked in the hospitality industry where he honed his customer service and people skills. Beginning as a child, Silas was exposed to all types of Atlanta area real estate projects, including the 100-year-old, historic adaptive reuse building in Grant Park where his office is located.
Silas grew up traveling extensively within the U.S. as well as other countries in North and Central America. He has traveled to the British Isles, Western and Eastern Europe and North Africa. His only visit to Asia was a trip to Japan.
Silas started playing soccer for Atlanta Youth Soccer Association, now known as the Inter Atlanta Football Club, when he was four years old. Many of the parents on his U-16 soccer team helped with the acquisition and development of Inter Atlanta’s Arizona Avenue Soccer Complex. Silas played on the varsity for the Decatur High School soccer team all four years and was the team’s co-captain his senior year. He still plays competitive soccer with the Sons of Pitches FC in Atlanta.
Silas lives in an old 1930s house in Atlanta’s Benteen Park neighborhood.
